Description
CCL28, also known as mucosae-associated epithelial chemokine, plays a critical role in directing lymphocyte homing to mucosal tissues, making it a key target in mucosal immunity and inflammatory disease research. This tag-free recombinant human CCL28 encompasses the full-length mature protein (residues 20–127) and demonstrates robust chemotactic activity on human lymphocytes at 1.0–10.0 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for Transwell migration assays, immune cell recruitment studies, and in vivo models of mucosal inflammation or infection. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound chemotaxis readouts and downstream signaling analyses involving pathways such as MAPK and NF-κB. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, supports use as a reference standard in chemokine detection assays and as a reliable coating antigen or positive control for antibody development and ELISA validation.
