Description
CCL27 (CTACK) plays a specialized role in skin-homing T cell recruitment through its exclusive receptor CCR10, making it a critical tool for studying cutaneous immune responses. This tag-free recombinant human CCL27 encompasses the full-length mature protein (residues 25–112) and demonstrates confirmed chemotactic activity in CCR10-transfected BaF3 cell migration assays at 10–100 ng/ml, supporting its use in transwell chemotaxis experiments, skin-directed immune cell trafficking studies, and downstream CCR10 signaling pathway analyses including MAPK and NF-κB activation. The endotoxin level of less than 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the stringent criteria needed to prevent LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell functional assays, while also providing a suitable basis for in vivo inflammation models examining cutaneous T cell homing. Purity exceeding 96% by SDS-PAGE, combined with faithful mature-sequence fidelity from E. coli expression, makes this protein appropriate for use as a reference standard in chemokine detection assays and as a positive control in antibody validation workflows.
