STING1

STING1, a pivotal protein in the innate immune system, is structurally composed of a C-terminal domain and a transmembrane domain, which collectively support its crucial role in immune signaling transduction. Functionally, STING1 not only maintains immune homeostasis and defends against viral infections but also participates in the regulation of intestinal microbial homeostasis. In terms of signaling pathways, STING1 serves as a key component of the CGAS-STING pathway.
