SLC1A2

SLC1A2, also known as EAAT2 or GLT-1, is a transmembrane protein encoded by the SLC1A2 gene and predominantly expressed in brain neurons and glial cells. It mediates the transport of extracellular glutamate into cells, maintaining glutamate homeostasis in the CNS. SLC1A2's role in neurotransmitter glutamate reuptake and the regulation of excitatory-inhibitory balance is crucial. Its dysfunction is associated with neurological diseases such as epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions, and brain injury.

Overlay Peak curve showing MCF-7 cells surface stained with CSB-RA051685A0HU (red line) at 1:50. Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1µg/1*10⁶cells) for 45min at 4℃. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) at 1:200 dilution for 35min at 4℃.Control antibody (green line) was rabbit IgG (1µg/1*10⁶cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed.
