FLT1

FLT1, also recognized as VEGFR-1 or CD309, is a receptor of the tyrosine kinase variety, transcribed by the FLT1 gene and predominantly found on vascular endothelial cells. This receptor engages with VEGF family ligands, igniting its kinase activity and propelling downstream signaling cascades like PI3K/AKT and RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK. FLT1 is pivotal for processes such as angiogenesis, vascular integrity, endothelial survival, and vascular permeability regulation.
