3-7 business days
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description
The glucagon receptor's extracellular domain (residues 26–136) governs initial ligand recognition and represents the primary target for therapeutic antibodies in oncology-focused GCGR research. This partial recombinant human GCGR construct, expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and disulfide-mediated folding, delivers the ligand-binding domain with greater than 95% purity and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, satisfying the quality thresholds commonly required for sensitive binding assays. Functional ELISA validation confirms robust activity, with immobilized GCGR (2 μg/mL) binding an anti-GCGR recombinant antibody at an EC50 of 3.747–6.666 ng/mL, providing a suitable basis for receptor-ligand interaction studies, competitive blocking antibody screening, and therapeutic antibody epitope mapping. Dual-tagged with an N-terminal 10×His and C-terminal Myc, this protein supports oriented immobilization for SPR or BLI affinity characterization and serves as a reliable positive control in binding assays.
